Course Objective
Explanation of concepts of child and childhood. Children's literature works in the education of sensitive, sensitive individuals who have acquired a culture of preaching and reading with qualified children's books in childhood. Development of children's literature in Turkey and in the world, Recognition of form and content features that should be found in children's publications and learning as applied; To explain the characteristics of children's literary genres (fairy tales, stories, poems, rhymes, riddles, etc.), to gain a culture of reading and taste for children and to learn to use them for children and for children,

Students make a three-four minute presentation on a given topic (author, work, publisher introduction, etc. -This list is presented to the students in the second week-) and this is included in the general grade point average as a 15% assignment grade.
