Course Objective
Preparing and evaluating exams in different types for measuring and evaluating different achievements in teaching Turkish. To understand the function and importance of assessment and evaluation, to gain information about the purposes for which different types of exams can be used, to gain the evaluation knowledge and skills in the context of reliability, validity, applicability, originality and the effect of the exams and techniques used in line with traditional and alternative measurement evaluation approaches on content and practices.
Course Content
Types of test and measurement methods used for different age groups and language levels in teaching language skills; principles for measuring and evaluating language skills; types of questions used in measuring reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary and grammar; exam preparation techniques and evaluation criteria; preparation of various question examples and exam evaluation studies.

- S/he determines the level of acquisition for different learning domains.
- S/he prepares different types of exam questions for Turkish teaching.
- S/he understands the principles of assessment and evaluating language skills.
- S/he prepares questions to determine the level of grammar and vocabulary.
- S/he evaluates the evaluation techniques of measuring listening, speaking, reading and writing skills within the scope of communication language teaching.
- S/he evaluates different types of exam questions prepared for Turkish teaching.
- S/he prepares exam questions for certain language levels in the context of communicative language teaching for specific purposes.
