Course Objective
The main objective of this course is to enable students to become environmental literate and to gain the competence of environmental education for their students as future teachers. To provide pre-service teachers to develop environmentally compatible behaviors and to have the knowledge, attitudes and skills of students who live in harmony with the environment.
Course Content
Basic ecological concepts and principles, ecosystems, food chains, food web, habitat, competition; symbiosis and mutual living, energy flow, circulation of matter, population growth, ecological impact, erosion, soil and water resources, environmental awareness, studies, institutions and organizations related to environmental awareness in the world; Environmental education in primary school programs.
