Examining Teacher's Books with Workbooks

Teacher candidates should be able to understand the principles to be used in selecting and arranging textbooks in primary school; to examine the textbooks used in practice in terms of the curriculum;
To be able to examine the theory, approach, philosophy adopted in the curriculum and the elements of the program (purpose, content, teaching-learning processes, evaluation) and to examine the textbooks in terms of these elements and the criteria taken into consideration in preparing the textbook (scientific language, content and physical features).
