Course Objective
The aim of this course is to train educators who can explain the basic concepts of character and values education, understand the importance of character and value education, know how to teach basic values, explain the value education approaches, understand the role of stakeholders in character and value education, and apply the methods and techniques used in character and value education.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of the historical foundations of character and values education, individual and social goals and approaches in character and values education, principles and methods of character and values education in the family and school and basic values.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Explain the basic concepts of character and values education
- Karakter ve değerler eğitiminin bireysel açıdan önemini ifade eder.
- Explain the importance of character and values education from an individual point of view.
- Recognizes the basic values.
