Course Objective
Obtaining information on inclusive education policies and practices. To analyze Education Adaptation Programs in inclusive education process, to create information tools for the education of disabled students.
Course Content
Students will be able to gain knowledge about the legal regulations and practices related to inclusive education. Students will gain experience in high quality application strategies and resources related to inclusive education. Students will gain experience in education, training and evidence-based interventions for people with disabilities.
Course Learning Outcomes
- To be able to explain the basic concepts, history and methods of inclusive education
- To be able to meet the educational needs of people with disabilities
- To be able to determine the situation and needs of individuals in need of special education in educational institutions
- To be able to determine the special educational needs of individuals
- To have knowledge about cognitive, behavioral and emotional development of children who need special education
