Course Objective

Pre-school teacher candidates' understanding of the basic concepts and principles of learning. To comprehend the theories and approaches of learning and to use them to prepare an effective learning environment and educational content in early childhood. To learn about the factors affecting learning and reaching the level of using effective learning methods and techniques in pre-school period.

Course Content

Basic principles and concepts related to learning, factors affecting learning in early childhood, learning theories and approaches. Environment and educational content arrangements that the teacher can make for effective learning in early childhood. Evaluation of learning theories and approaches in terms of early childhood education

  2. Explains he factors affecting learning in early childhood.

  4. Compares the different learning-teaching methods in pre-school education.
  5. Explains the basic principles and concepts of learning.
  6. Establishes a connection between learning theories and their reflections in early childhood education.
  7. Analyze learning theories and approaches.
