Course Objective
Traumatic situations are examined closely and it is aimed to inform about the interventions related to this issue.
Course Content
This course includes the followings; Understanding trauma, general characteristics, establishing a trusting relationship with the client, evaluating the client, psychoeducation, affect regulation and cognitive processing, working with triggers, the role of client-counselor relationship in trauma therapy, mass traumas and group work.

Attendance to the Course: Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Undergraduate Education and Training Regulation
Article 21 - (1) Students at the University; Within one semester, they are obliged to attend theoretical courses 70% and applied courses 80%. Each instructor checks the obligation to attend classes according to these principles.

- Provides information about psycho-educational studies for trauma
- Explains the techniques that can be applied and can explain why they are used in trauma.
- Gives information about working in the field in social trauma situations.
- It is provided a broad insight into the field
