Course Objective
Definition of mental health and related concepts; mental health according to psychology schools, factors affecting mental health at school, mental health at school and humanitarian education; mental health at school according to developmental stages; cognitive and affective learning and mental health relationship.

Course Learning Outcomes
- Defines mental health; describe the characteristics of individuals with mental health status; Lists the normal and abnormal behavior criteria.
- Defines the factors affecting mental health depending on the characteristics in the field of personality development and can explain the difference from adult mental health.
- Knows how to work with the reflections of the elements that threaten mental health in the family to the educational environment at school.
- Knows how mental health counseling is handled from the perspective of school administrators and field teachers and can provide consultation services.
- Knows the effects of explicit and implicit programs on students' mental health and can make necessary precautions and applications.
- Evaluate the effects of internal-external migration, disadvantaged students and problems stemming from cultural differences on mental health at school, and make necessary guidance and interventions.
- Explain the effect of personality differences on learning factors in students according to personal and educational guidance elements.
- Discusses suggestions for parents and teachers about prevention and correction of various emotional and behavioral problems in children.
- Can connect Positive Mental Health and Mental Wellbeing models with positive psychology practices.
- Recognize the basic counseling approaches used in the intervention of mental health problems in children and adolescents.
