Our Mission
In line with the mission of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University and the Faculty of Health Sciences, our mission is to train innovative, quality-focused health managers who have internalised the values of our civilisation, are committed to ethical principles, are grounded in scientific thinking, embrace lifelong learning, conduct research and produce knowledge, are dedicated to serving society and humanity, are attuned to the needs of the health system, and possess strong leadership skills and a high level of social responsibility.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be a leading department, recognised for its national and international reputation, cited as a reference through its scientific publications, at the forefront of education, research and community service activities in the field of health management, contributing to the development of health policies, solution-oriented, innovative, embracing a culture of quality, and whose graduates are sought after as leaders.
Our Objectives
Programme Objective 1: To train graduates with fundamental knowledge and competence in the health system, health policy, health institution management, health economics, financing, human resources, health law and health informatics.
Programme Objective 2: To train health managers capable of taking part in planning, organisation, decision-making, coordination, quality, accreditation, patient safety and continuous improvement processes in health institutions.
Programme Objective 3: To train graduates with skills in scientific research, data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving, ethical responsibility and evidence-based decision-making.
Programme Objective 4: To train graduates with developed communication, leadership, teamwork and lifelong learning skills, who can follow developments in digital health, artificial intelligence and health technologies, and who are equipped to work in the public sector, the private sector and civil society organisations.
