
The İZÜ Department of Business Administration focuses on training business professionals who examine the current problems and structural features of the business world and economic life and produce solutions that make a difference. In this context, our students are educated to become individuals who have adopted an analytical approach, are equipped with scientific knowledge and information technologies, and have reached the competence to successfully carry out key business activities for all sectors. Although it is a young department, our department stands out with its experienced academic staff made up of academics who have proven their success in academia and successful practitioners from the business world.
The Department of Business Administration educates students with a global perspective. In addition, through student exchange programmes abroad such as Erasmus, our students benefit from the educational, social and cultural advantages of international interaction.
The Business Administration Undergraduate Programme is a 240-ECTS programme with a normal duration of 4 academic years consisting of 8 semesters. As in the other undergraduate departments of our University, 1 ECTS in the Business Administration undergraduate programme corresponds to a student workload of 30 (hours/semester).
Opportunities Offered to Students:
- Opportunity to learn foreign languages (free of charge),
- Opportunity to do a minor (with a scholarship for the normal duration of the major programme),
- Opportunity to do a double major (with a scholarship for the normal duration of the double major programme),
- Opportunity to study abroad through international exchange programmes (1 or 2 semesters),
- Opportunity to continue with master's programmes after graduation.

Graduates of the Department of Business Administration have many job opportunities in both the public and private sectors. Our graduates can work in management, specialist and other positions in areas such as management, human resources management, marketing, production, accounting and finance in organizations in the real and financial sectors of the public and private sectors, and can also become entrepreneurs by setting up their own businesses. In addition, it is possible for our graduates to start and advance in an academic career through graduate education. As the language of instruction is English, our graduates can also be employed in international companies as global citizens.
