Information on the Evaluation Criteria

Academic Achievement Level (60%)

The student's cumulative academic grade point average at the time of application is converted into the 100-point system and taken into evaluation.

The grade point average the student has at the time of application is automatically transferred to the Erasmus Application form from the Campus Information System.

To take part in the mobility, the minimum undergraduate grade point average is 2.20 / 4.00 - 72 / 100

Click here for the IZU Grade Conversion Table. (The 100-point system and letter grade equivalents of grades in the 4-point system)

Undergraduate students who do not yet have a cumulative grade point average cannot apply.

Applicants may apply with the B2 level Preparatory School Completion Grade they have obtained from the Foreign Languages Coordination Office.

Requests and appeals regarding the language exam must be submitted to the Foreign Languages Coordination Office.

Erasmus+ Mobility with Grant Option

Under the Erasmus+ Programme, selected students may receive an Erasmus+ grant to cover their living expenses during the mobility period. The distribution of grants depends on the number of applications, the destination country and the budget allocated by the Turkish National Agency. The Erasmus+ grant is a contribution and may not cover 100% of the expenses incurred before and during the mobility (such as visa, accommodation, flight tickets and living expenses). In such cases, the student must cover the remaining amount themselves.

Erasmus+ Mobility without Grant Option

Students may exercise this right by selecting the "Without Grant" option on the online form during the application, or by notifying the Erasmus Institutional Coordination Office after the results have been announced. Whether they are selected with or without a grant, Erasmus+ students do not pay tuition, registration, examination or library fees to the university they attend.

Special Needs and Accompanying Person Support

The Erasmus+ Programme encourages greater participation by disadvantaged participants. For participants with physical, mental or other disabilities, the Erasmus+ Programme provides guidance, reception, physical accessibility, pedagogical and technical support, together with a contribution towards additional costs.

Grant support is provided for the special needs of participants with disabilities. Under this support, 100% of the eligible costs are covered. In addition to the supplementary grant, individuals with disabilities and their accompanying persons are also supported with guidance, pedagogical and technical assistance, reception and physical accessibility.

Please contact the Erasmus Office for detailed information.
