Visible Answers to Invisible Questions
The seminar titled “Visible Answers to Invisible Questions”, organized by the Islam Research Club, featured Salih Eğridere, Member of the Board of Trustees and Spiritual Advisor at the Turkey Youth Foundation, as the speaker. The program explored topics such as the purpose of human existence in this world, the challenges of life, and the concept of tests and trials. Questions like “Why is life difficult?”, “Why me?”, “Do I have to appear strong?”, and “Why can’t I move forward despite having a goal?” were discussed.
Salih Eğridere emphasized that humans are beings with free will and that everything that happens occurs by Allah’s permission, with the key factor being the response given to these events. At the conclusion of his talk, he advised young participants to replace the question “Why me?” with “Thankfully, it is me” as a sign of surrender and maturity, encouraging them to reflect on their inner questions in a healthy and constructive way.
