Visiting the production facilities of Kaanlar Gıda, IZU students had the opportunity to observe food production processes on site as part of industry-university cooperation. During the technical visit, organized jointly by the Food and Agriculture Research and Application Center and the Department of Food Engineering, students were briefed on sustainable production, quality management and R&D activities. Throughout the visit, students observed numerous processes, from raw milk intake to production and quality control stages, and reinforced their theoretical knowledge with practice by taking a close look at cheese and butter production technologies in particular. The students also met with industry representatives and discussed the future of food engineering and career opportunities in the field.
