You can follow the steps below to enrol in IZUSEM certificate programmes.

On the screen that opens, you can select the training you want under APPLICATION FORMS in the left panel and create your REGISTRATION.

Organized so that practising expert witnesses can update their knowledge and practical skills, this training constitutes the refresher training required by the Ministry of Justice. Participants will learn about changes in legislation, ethical principles and developments in practice, enabling them to carry out their duties as expert witnesses with up-to-date knowledge.

EXPERT WITNESS REFRESHER TRAINING CURRICULUM
(6 Class Hours, 300 Minutes in Total)

PART ONE (200 Minutes)
1- Current Developments in Expert Witnessing (50 Minutes)
In terms of positive legal regulations
In terms of practice
2- Qualifications, Duties and Ethical Principles of the Expert Witness (50 Minutes)
3- Conducting the Expert Examination (50 Minutes)
4- Sharing the Problems Encountered in Expert Witness Practice and Proposed Solutions
(50 Minutes)

PART TWO
PRACTICAL TRAINING *(100 Minutes)
5- Presentation of Case Studies and Conducting Examinations (50 Minutes)
6- Delivering Presentations and Feedback, General Evaluation and Training

At the end of the programme, participants are entitled to receive a certificate approved by the Continuing Education Centre of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.

Pursuant to the circular issued by the Department of Expert Witnesses, participants who fail to attend 1/12 of the classes are dismissed from the training programme. Medical reports or other impediments do not remove the attendance requirement.

• Once the groups have been approved by the Department of Expert Witnesses, no FEE refund is possible.
• IZUSEM reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary during the announcement and implementation stages of its programmes.
• As the quota for the programme in question is limited, no refund will be made to participants who have been granted final registration by IZUSEM and have paid the programme fee, regardless of whether they attend the programme, except for those who submit a written application to IZUSEM stating that they will be unable to attend at least 2 weeks before the programme's start date (and before the programme has been approved by the relevant department).
• Weekday and weekend training groups will be determined according to the number of participants during the final registration period.
