Pursuant to the sixth paragraph of Article 50 of the Regulation on Conciliation in Criminal Procedure, published in the Official Gazette no. 30145 of 05.08.2017 and entered into force on that date, conciliators receive refresher training of no less than eight lesson hours in total, both theoretical and practical, at least once every two years from institutions authorised to provide conciliator training. Attendance at this training, held every two years, is compulsory for conciliators.

Pursuant to letter no. E.38360930-659-0002-2022-87/23545 dated 25.03.2022 of the General Directorate of Criminal Affairs of the Ministry of Justice, those who fail to attend more than one lesson hour of the training without an acceptable and valid excuse
will be removed from the training programme.

- Applications for the conciliator refresher training may be made by those who passed the Ministry of Justice Conciliator Examination of 11 March 2018 and are registered in the conciliator register, as well as by those who passed that examination and have not applied for registration but who meet the registration requirements under Article 48 of the Regulation on Conciliation in Criminal Procedure.
- Those who passed the 2021 Ministry of Justice Conciliator Examination and the 2021 Ministry of Justice Supplementary Conciliator Examination will not attend the refresher training, as the required period has not yet elapsed.
- Discounts are available, subject to quota, for IZU staff, alumni and students.
- Once groups have been confirmed, FEE refunds are not possible.
- Should the competent government authorities declare curfews or similar measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the announced programme schedules may be subject to change.
- IZUSEM reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary during the announcement and implementation stages of its programmes.
- As the quota for the programme in question is limited, no refund will be made to participants who have been granted final registration by IZUSEM and have paid the programme fee, regardless of whether they attend the programme, except for those who submit a written application to IZUSEM stating that they will be unable to attend at least 2 weeks before the programme's start date (and before the programme has been approved by the relevant department).
- Weekday and weekend training groups will be determined according to the number of participants during the final registration period.
