The successful implementation of a project idea depends largely on that project being developed and managed correctly and to a high standard. Project ideas developed through a logical framework should be shaped so as to meet stakeholder analysis, strategy analysis and other expectations. Public bodies and other institutions that provide project funding likewise require projects to be prepared with due regard to realism, feasibility and cost-effectiveness, and to provide sufficient information on likely risks, resource requirements, expected results and the impact the projects will create.

This training focuses on the project preparation principles of organisations such as the European Union, public institutions, development agencies and non-governmental organisations. The stages of project preparation and the most widely used methods in project development and planning will be addressed, and project writing will be carried out through hands-on practice.

  • What is a project?
  • Project cycle management?
  • Project management techniques?
  • Logical framework approach (Hands-on)
  • Funding institutions?
  • Developing the project document (Hands-on)
