Student Traineeship Mobility with Erasmus+ Programme Countries

Under Key Action 1, students may spend between 2 and 12 months at a company abroad in order to gain work experience related to their field of study. The field in which the host company operates must be directly related to the student's department. Accordingly, Erasmus+ traineeship mobility may not be used for research or analytical work.

How to Apply

Students wishing to apply must complete the online application form available at https://applyerasmus.izu.edu.tr/.

Application Documents

  • The online application form must be completed in full.
  • A photograph must be attached to the application form.
  • The organisation at which the student will complete the traineeship must be determined at the time of application. Details of the traineeship placement or the letter of acceptance must be uploaded to the system.
  • Documents relating to relatives of martyrs and veterans, disability status, and protection, care or accommodation decisions under Social Services Law No. 2828 must be uploaded to the online application system, if available. (The originals of these documents must subsequently be submitted to the Erasmus Institutional Coordination Office.)

  • An official transcript (signed and sealed) obtained from the Academic Affairs unit showing the student's cumulative grade point average must be uploaded at the time of application. (Applicants should keep a copy of the transcript they obtain. The application transcript must be dated no earlier than 28 February 2018.)

Erasmus+ Mobility with Grant Option

Under the Erasmus+ Programme, selected students may receive an Erasmus+ grant to cover their living expenses during the mobility period. The distribution of grants depends on the number of applications, the destination country and the budget allocated by the Turkish National Agency. The Erasmus+ grant is a contribution and may not cover 100% of the expenses incurred before and during the mobility (such as visa, accommodation, flight tickets and living expenses). In such cases, the student must cover the remaining amount themselves.
