Please note that the preparation of an electronically signed transcript may take 1-2 business days.
For the Electronic Transcript application steps, please click here.
We would also like to point out that if you experience any problems with your application, you should send an e-mail describing the issue, together with a screenshot, to erasmus@izu.edu.tr.
Documents Required for the Application
- If applicants hold documents certifying that they are a relative of a martyr or veteran, have a disability, are covered by a protection, care or shelter decision under Social Services Law No. 2828, are earthquake victims, are participants with fewer opportunities, or are students with disabilities, these documents must be uploaded to the online application system. (The originals of these documents must later be submitted to the Erasmus Institutional Coordination Office.)
- The electronically signed transcript obtained from the Department of Student Affairs via the KBS system, showing the student's cumulative grade point average at the time of application, must be uploaded during the application.
- If a language proficiency certificate is available, the relevant exam result document must be uploaded.
- Students who intend to take the Erasmus Language Proficiency Exam must indicate this in the system by selecting the option “I would like to take the University Erasmus Language Proficiency Exam”.

- Students who have previously taken the Erasmus Language Proficiency Exam must apply with an Individual Exam Result document obtained from our Foreign Languages Coordination Office.
Points to Consider When Applying
- For any problems that may arise during the application, please contact the Erasmus Institutional Coordination Office. (For contact, an e-mail should be sent to erasmus@izu.edu.tr.)
- Dil Sınavına girmek istemeyen öğrenciler;
- If a Language Exam Result document is available, the exam result documents must be uploaded to the system. (Assessments will be made taking into account the 5-year validity requirement for YDS and YÖKDİL certificates. The validity period of other exam proficiency certificates is 2 years. When uploading the relevant language certificates to the system, they must be uploaded so that the verification codes are visible. Candidates without a language exam certificate must select the option "I would like to take the Erasmus+ Language Proficiency Exam."
- Students who wish to apply with their IZU Preparatory School completion grade or IZU Preparatory School Exemption Exam result must correctly enter their "B2" level grade in the system and upload a recently dated, electronically signed transcript showing the grade at "B2" level. A "C1" Preparatory School completion grade cannot be accepted.
- For the table converting YDS, YÖKDİL, TOEFL-IBT-CBT-PBT and IELTS scores into IZU Erasmus+ Language Proficiency Exam scores, click here.
- A recently dated electronically signed transcript must be requested through the Campus Information System and uploaded to the application system as a PDF.
- After the application deadline has passed, no changes may be made to the three University preferences submitted, except in cases of force majeure. Placement will be determined according to your preferences, the available quotas and the availability of the host institution.
- If you also apply for Summer Term Traineeship mobility within the same application period, and you are selected for both mobility types, you must indicate during the application which mobility type you wish the -10 point deduction to be applied to.
- The waiver dates for students selected as principal candidates are 6 October - 17 October 2025. Students who do not exercise their right to waive within these dates and instead waive on a different date will have -10 points deducted in the next application period.
