FROM THE RECTORATE OF ISTANBUL SABAHATTIN ZAIM UNIVERSITY
OUR UNIVERSITY WILL RECRUIT “FACULTY MEMBERS”
Faculty members will be recruited for the faculties and departments of our University listed below, in accordance with Articles 23, 24 and 26 of Higher Education Law No. 2547, the applicable articles in force of the “Regulation on Promotion and Appointment to Faculty Membership” published in the Official Gazette dated 12.06.2018, and our University's “Academic Promotion and Appointment Criteria”.
Applicants may submit their applications in person or by post. Applications made by e-mail will not be accepted.
Applicants must;
a) Meet the conditions set out in Article 48 of Law No. 657,
b) Meet the minimum requirements set out in Articles 23, 24 and 26 of Law No. 2547,
c) Hold diplomas obtained abroad whose equivalence has been approved by the Interuniversity Board,
d) Meet our University's “Academic Promotion and Appointment Criteria”.
*To meet the conditions set out in Article 8 of the Regulation on the Principles to be Observed in Foreign Language Teaching and Instruction in a Foreign Language at Higher Education Institutions.
Among those meeting the conditions stated above;
1) Candidates applying for a Professor position must submit to the Rectorate Directorate of Correspondence their application petition together with printed copies of the Academic Promotion and Appointment Criteria Form, a CV in YOK format, 2 photographs, a photocopy of their identity card, a certificate of residence, bachelor's, master's and doctoral diplomas (for diplomas obtained abroad, an equivalence certificate approved by the Interuniversity Board), Professorship and Associate Professorship certificates and foreign language certificates, and must also upload information covering their principal research works, scientific studies and publications onto 6 (six) USB flash drives,
2) Candidates applying for an Associate Professor position must submit to the Rectorate Directorate of Correspondence their application petition together with printed copies of the Academic Promotion and Appointment Criteria Form, a CV in YOK format, 2 photographs, a photocopy of their identity card, a certificate of residence, bachelor's, master's and doctoral diplomas (for diplomas obtained abroad, an equivalence certificate approved by the Interuniversity Board), the Associate Professorship certificate and foreign language certificates, and must also upload information covering their principal research works, scientific studies and publications onto 4 (four) USB flash drives,
3) Candidates applying for an Assistant Professor position must apply to the relevant Deanship, submitting with their application petition printed copies of the Academic Promotion and Appointment Criteria Form, a CV in YOK format, 2 photographs, a photocopy of their identity card, a certificate of residence, bachelor's, master's and doctoral diplomas (for diplomas obtained abroad, an equivalence certificate approved by the Interuniversity Board) and foreign language certificates, and must also upload information covering their scientific studies and publications onto 4 (four) USB flash drives.
