Course Objective
Turkish Music, which has been inherited from our ancestors since the first periods of history, has been shaped by intertwining with the pre-Islamic Turkish music with the elements such as words, poems, maqams, rhythms and instruments in the world of sound, and this historical development of our historical culture has been enriched by transforming, diversifying and enriching with time. and to understand the stages of change from a historical, philosophical and sociological perspective. Turkish people live in different geographies of Anatolia, Kirkuk, the Balkans, Caucasus, etc .. available in our region by examining the music culture to work to understand the form and characteristics of music .. To examine the sound system of the traditional Turkish music within the framework of the methods put forward by the great Turkish music theorists in the historical process, to teach the various music forms and to make the exercises with practical examples.
