Course Objective

To introduce the foundations of social policy.

Course Content

The course is based on the more "broad meaning" of social policy. In this context, after expressing the "narrow meaning" and the history of the process of emergence of social policy, different approaches to social policy, and welfare state implementation in social policy in particular; it will then shed light on the actors, tools and finances of social policy and their interlocutors. Finally, the social footprint of Turkey will be evaluated.
