WOMEN'S HEALTH AND DISEASES NURSING - NON THESIS

About the Program

Master's Degree Program without these is in Women’s Health and Diseases  Nursing has been started its education in 2018 Spring Semester. The Program consists of 10 course and a master project study (total 90 ECTS). The normal duration of this program is 2 semesters and the maximum duration is 3 semesters.


 

Program Objectives & Goals

Objectives

  1. Has current theoretical and practical knowledge specific to the field of nursing.
  2. Has the knowledge and ability to reach the scientific and current information unique to the nursing field and to evaluate the authenticity, validity and reliability of the information.
  3. Provides culturally sensitive nursing care to individual, family and society with a holistic and systematic approach by using theoretical, evidence-based and practical knowledge in the field of nursing and evaluate and record the effect of care.
  4. Uses informatics and care technologies in nursing education, practice, research and management.
  5. Respects for human rights and dignity in nursing education, practice, research and management and act in accordance with related legislation, professional values and ethical principles.
  6. Works in cooperation with members of the health team and other disciplines.
  7. Leads innovation and change by taking responsibilities in activities contributing to the development of health care and nursing profession.
  8. Leads the organizational structures and systems in ensuring and developing safe and quality care.
  9. Adopts lifelong learning approach in personal and professional development.
  10. Be a model for society and role model for colleagues with professional identity.
  11. Uses critical thinking skills and scientific problem solving approach in her/his professional practices.
  12. Uses effective communication skills in her/his professional practice

  2. To be able to create new information by integrating information in the field of Women s Health and Disease Nursing and information came from another discipline.
  3. To be able to solve problems that requires expertise by using scientific research methods.
  4. A problem in the field, to be able to build independently, to be able to develop a solution method, to be able to solve, to be able to evaluate and perform results
  5. At the Unforeseen complex situations encountered in applications, to be able to develop new strategic approach and to be able to produce a solution by taking responsibility.
  6. To be able to critically evaluate information about Women s Health and Disease Nursing, to be able to direct learning and to be able to conduct advanced studies as an independent.
  7. To be able to grap the interaction between the disciplines about Women s Health and Disease Nursing.

Master's Degree at Women Health and Diasease Nursing (without thesis)

Admission Requirements

-To graduate from the Faculty of Nursing, School of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing Department of Health Colleges.

-Get at least 55 points from ALES (any of the SAY-point types),

-The courses of this program are given at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Halkalı campus.

 

Graduation Requirements

It consists of 10 courses with 30 credits (90 ECTS in total) and graduate project work for non-thesis graduate students. The normal duration of completing this program is 3 semesters and the maximum duration is 6 semesters.

Recognition of Prior Learning

The provisions of the Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated April 20, 2016 and numbered 29690 by the Presidency of the Higher Education Institution are applied

Employment Opportunities

They work as responsible / nurse / manager nurse in Ministry of Health, University and Private hospitals.

Access to Further Studies

Graduates can apply for master's programs with thesis if they meet the necessary conditions.
