Course Objective

The aim of the course is to provide students with the ability to apply hall orienteering, stake traverse orienteering, line orienteering and terrain (rough) orienteering in accordance with the rules.

Course Content

The course content includes the historical development of orienteering, types of orienteering, rules of orienteering, orienteering map and symbols used, orienteering target information card, basic orienteering techniques, hall exercises, stake traverse orienteering exercises, line orienteering and field (rough) orienteering.
