Course Objective
Examine the structure and functioning of sports economics and marketing systems in Turkey and around the world, using economic concepts and tools such as market structures and labor markets in light of the principles, techniques, and methods of economics.
Course Content
This course includes the following topics: Basic Concepts in Sports Economics, Relationship between Economics and Sports, Review of Supply and Demand in Sports, Legal Structures of Sports Organizations, Financial Management in Sports, Strengthening Game Quality and Brand in Sports Organizations, Financial Planning and Evaluation in Sports, Budgeting and Costs in Sports, Financial Management in Sports, Control of Accounts, Profits and Losses, Competitiveness and Balance in Sports, Labor Market in Professional and Amateur Sports, Financial Analysis of City Sports Clubs, Financial Analysis of University Sports Clubs, Current Developments in Sports Economics.
