Course Objective

The students will be able to comprehend the structure of the cell, tissue, organs, systems and movement system that make up the human body, anatomical terms and concepts, planes, axes, movements of the head, neck, trunk, upper and lower parts and the functions during the contraction of the muscles participating in the movement. To teach kinesiological analysis of joint movements and sporting movements.

Posture and Muscle Imbalance; Human Motion Terminology;
Muscles and Movements of Pelvis and Lower Limb;
Muscles Affecting Hip Joint;
Muscles Affecting Knee and Ankle Joint;
Upper Body Muscles: Movements, Functions and Exercises;
Includes Applied Kinesiology Exercise Analysis Examples.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Gaining knowledge about the terminology and fundamental concepts related to the field of human anatomy and kinesiology.
  2. İnsan vücudunu meydana getiren hücre, doku, organlar, sistemler ve hareket sisteminin yapılar hakkında bilgi kazanılması,
  3. Gaining knowledge about anatomical planes, axes, head, neck, trunk, upper and lower limb movements, the functions of the muscles involved in movement during contraction, and the joint movements they produce.
  4. Ability to explain the structural organization and functions of systems in the human body.
  5. The ability to explain the relationship between the skeletal system, bones, joints, and muscles that create movement.
  6. Gaining the ability to perform kinesiological analyses of athletic movements.
