Course Objective

The aim of this course is to know the scientific research methods used in educational sciences; can create the research design they need in their future professional lives; know how to conduct such research; and to raise individuals with scientific attitudes and behavior. In addition, ensuring that the individual is aware of qualitative and quantitative research methods and understands and manages the reporting process of a research.

Course Content

Fundamentals of scientific research and basic concepts, types of research frequently used in education, ethical rules in research, definition of the research problem and literature review, sampling and sampling methods, survey research, relational research, causal comparison research, experimental research, quantitative data collection and analysis techniques, qualitative data collection and analysis techniques, communication in research, population and sample.
