Course Learning Outcomes
- It analyzes the supercompensation cycle through the relationship between homeostasis and fatigue.
- By defining the periodization system, they gain the ability to break down their annual training plan into manageable phases.
- It describes the anatomical structure of skeletal muscle (epimysium, perimysium, endomysium) and the mechanism of muscle contraction.
- It distinguishes muscle fiber types (Type I, Type IIa, Type IIx) in terms of biochemical and fatigue resistance.
- It defines the principles of engine unit recruitment depending on the load amount.
- Understands the fundamental goals and application methods of training phases (Anatomical Adaptation, Hypertrophy, Mixed Training, Maximum Strength, Muscle Defining, and Transition).
- It establishes a balance between training load and regeneration (recovery) by using the step-loading principle.
- It adjusts the relationship between training volume (total work) and intensity (percentage of 1RM) according to different training goals.
- Based on electromyography (EMG) studies, it selects exercises that provide the highest electrical stimulation for each muscle group using scientific data.
- Exercises are classified according to primary (agonist) and secondary (stabilizer/synergist) muscle groups.
- Correct technique explains the importance of line of pull and range of motion (ROM) on exercise efficiency.
- It optimizes rest periods between sets (RI) according to the target energy system (ATP-PC or Glycogen).
