Course Objective

This course, in which microeconomic theory is studied at the graduate level, aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of major areas such as consumer theory, choice, choice, producer theory, market structures, welfare economics, general equilibrium, game theory, social choice and mechanism design.

The content of this course includes topics related to optimization, consumer theory, producer theory, markets, general equilibrium, game theory, social choice and mechanism design.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. To able to understand the mathematical foundations of micro economic theory
  2. To be able to follow the current literature on microeconomics
  3. To acquire the economic notions to produce genuine studies
