Course Objective
The main aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills about spiritual counseling and guidance principles and techniques. In addition, the basic principles of spiritual counseling, ethical principles, theological, theoretical and practical background of spiritual counseling services, to have knowledge about the historical development of spiritual guidance, to have information about the theories and approaches used in the context of services, theological content of classical and contemporary theological thinking forms, changing conditions, to gain the ability to use the appropriate context in the context of cases is also among the other objectives of the course.
Course Content
Basic concepts and history of spiritual counseling; psychological counseling theories and spirituality; characteristics of spiritual counselor, ethical rules in spiritual counseling, models in spiritual counseling and techniques of spiritual counseling.
