Course Objective

The main objectives of the International Social Work Practices course are; To provide students with the skills to provide services in the field of social work at an international level and to ensure that they understand the basic principles of international social work practices.

Course Content

International social work perspectives will be discussed at the micro (individual), mezzo (family) and macro (society) levels in the context of Eco-System. Roles of social workers in the international arena: direct application services at micro and mezzo level roles of social workers in the international arena: participation in international policy and organization studies Focus of international social work characteristics of international social work issues of fighting against global poverty are discussed in depth.
