Course Objective
The aim of the course is to give general information in the field of European Union Criminal Law, to make a comparative analysis, to evaluate the historical development of the EU Criminal Law, to evaluate the treaties that have formed, to examine the impact of the Lisbon Treaty on the EU Criminal Law, to evaluate the regulations of the member states within the framework of harmonization studies.
Course Content
The content of the course is the historical development of the European Union Criminal Law, the examination of the treaties effective in its formation, the examination of the Criminal Law Regulations of the member states.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Gains knowledge of the historical development of the EU Criminal Law.
- Examines effective regional treaties in EU Criminal Law.
- Gains knowledge of the Criminal Law regulations of EU member states.
