Course Objective

The aim of this course is to gain the ability to carry out an educational research in all dimensions using quantitative or qualitative methods.

Course Content

The main purpose of this course is to examine the research process (problem determination, data collection, data analysis and interpretation of results), to examine the main scientific research methods (experimental method, scanning method, Relational method etc.) and to enable students to learn practically the techniques of finding literature, collecting data, evaluating data and writing reports that are necessary for research on a specific subject.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. To provide information about research proposal and research report preparation.
  2. Helping them learn about the research process and methods
  3. To enable them to seriously analyze and evaluate research in the field of information management
  4. To ensure that they think systematically and apply analytical methods in solving problems in the field of information management.
  5. To develop their understanding of the role of research in science, particularly in knowledge management;
  6. To teach data collection, data analysis and evaluation techniques
