Course Objective
The aim of this course is to give general information about commercial enterprise and pledge issues and to examine the problems encountered in practice.
Course Content
The Commercial Code of Obligations in the Commercial Transactions No. 6750 was enacted on 01.01.2017 by abolishing the Commercial Enterprise Law No. 1447. With the new law, the subject, scope and parties of the pledge have been greatly expanded. With the extension of the pledge, access to financial resources was facilitated, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Considering the importance of SMEs in commercial life in the globalizing world, new regulations are of great importance. The changes in the law and the problems experienced in the course will be examined.
