Course Objective
The limited liability company (abbreviated LTD) is one of the most common business forms in Turkey. There are many LTDs in Turkey typically running by small or medium sized businesses who choose this corporate legal form for its simple registration procedure and easiness to operate. The aim of this course is to counduct an in depth analyis about the structure of LTDs in Turkey such as the details about the registration procedure, the costs and documents necessary to be submitted to the authorities for forming an LTD.
Course Content
Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 ("TCC") brings important changes to the establishment of a limited liability company. This module analyse these changes i.e. Requirements for a seeting up LTD, Registering a LTD ,Number and Qualities of the Shareholders
Course Learning Outcomes
- Differentiate the ordinary partnership agreements as regulated by the Turkish Code Of Obligations numbered 6098 from other forms of commercial companies,
- Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to; Recognize the different forms of commercial companies which are regulated by the new Turkish Commercial Code numbered 6102 ,
- Recognize grounds of dissolution and procedure of dissolution in joint stock companies, Make comparisons between the joint stock companies and limited liability companies
