Course Objective
The aim of this course is to guide students in writing the master’s dissertation to satisfy the requirement for obtaining the LL.M. degree in private law that demonstrates the expertise and knowledge the student has gained throughout his/her graduate work. The student enrolls in this course of two semesters and completes a total of 30 ECTS to meet the requirement.
Course Content
Students write a thesis under guidance of thesis advisor on current theories and topics in private law. The student is responsible for finding a suitable topic and after approval of the topic by his/her advisor, will prepare a resarch outline. The term project will need to develop an analysis that is rooted in theory and makes use of scientific research techniques. The thesis needs to satisfy the formatting requirements in the Guidelines for Thesis Preparation.
Course Learning Outcomes
- The students who succeeded in this course will be able to conduct an independent research on a topic of her choice that requires specialty in the field of private law and about its sub-disciplines.
- will be able to use the expert level of knowledge on private law and its sub-disciplines on the analysis of the problems on theoretical and applied law.
- will be able to write research project, present and defend the results of his/her research as a contrubution to the literature that fullfills the requirement of a LL.M. degree in Private Law.
