Course Objective

The aim of the course is to provide detailed information about the history of the Qur'an and the sciences of the Qur'an and to familiarize with the sources of this field.

Course Content

The revelation of the Qur'an, reading the Quran, understanding, problems of the Quran, the sciences that emerged in history and its sources.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Recognize the goal of the Qur'an
  2. Gains knowledge of the nature, shape and types of revelation.
  3. Learn the history, writing and reproduction of the Qur'an.
  4. Defines the basic concepts of the Qur'an's style and challenge,
  5. Describes the reasons for the descent of muhkem and mütesabih verses.
  6. Recognizes the sources of the Qur'an
