Course Objective

Students will explane the way in the exegetical tradition.

To have information about the interpretations and methods of Narration and Dirayet

To introduce interpreters and works according to their periods

Course Content

The Qur'an deals with the historical cruise of the formation and development processes of tafsir history.

Hz. Teaching the positions of the Prophet and his Companions on tafsr

To comprehend the stages of tafsir according to the periods

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Students learn about the possibility of scientific exegesis.
  2. The student learns about modern commentary approaches.
  3. The student learn about the acquis that occurs in the historical process at the point of understanding and interpreting the Quran.
  4. Students learn about the different schools of exegesis that emerged in the history of Tafsir.
