Course Objective

This course focuses on a detailed study of international experience in this field, starting from Mit Ghamr (1963), the first international example of Islamic banking.

Course Content

In this course, the first international Islamic banking example and then the Islamic banking experience to the present day will be provided to the students.
In addition, the point reached by Islamic banking in the international dimension today, will be revealed with the help of data.
Finally, detailed information will be given in the regions where Islamic banking is available.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Information about the first examples of Islamic banking will be obtained.
  2. Students will develop a dynamic perspective on the process of Islamic banking to the present.
  3. Students will be able to compare Islamic banking examples in various regions.
