Course Objective

It is aimed that students will be able to plan cancer development mechanism, etiology, cancer frequency in the world and in the world, cancer prevention and early diagnosis methods, treatment methods, physical symptoms related to treatment, problems of cancer individuals and their families and planning nursing interventions.

Course Content

Cancer occurrence mechanism, etiology, cancer prevalence in our country and in the world, cancer prevention and early diagnosis methods, treatment methods, physical and psychosocial symptoms related to treatment, problems experienced by the cancer individual and his family, etc. It is a 3 hour theoretical course including topics.
