Course Objective

To provide students with practical information on how to conduct different research in the field of family counseling and education.

Course Content

Science, scientific method, properties of science, types of scientific research, ethics in scientific research, science of science, types of research in social sciences, methods and techniques of data collection, definition, types and techniques of sampling, resource use and representation in scientific research, reporting

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Interpret the basic concepts of scientific research.
  2. Discuss the importance of scientific research in terms of social sciences
  3. Explains the Scientific Research Techniques and Methods.
  4. Discuss the qualitative and quantitative research interpretations and their different and common aspects.
  5. Uses Data Collection Methods and Techniques.
  6. It implements the reporting of scientific research.
