Course Objective

Family Counseling Practices This course is designed for students to gain experience and knowledge of family counseling practices by making use of the techniques used in family counseling. While these derste students are learning the theoretical sub-structure of the techniques to practice, they perform in-class and predominantly out-of-class applications. This course is structured as an application-focused course, aiming at students to practice family counseling and gain experience.

The aim of the course is to provide students with a broad insight into the subjects.

Rules

For this course, a final  exam will be held about the subjects that are processed in the 14th week.

  10. Inventories, Questionnaires, Psychological Tests Used in Family Counseling
  11. Genograms Used in Family Counseling, Make Case Formulation, Formulation of Treatment Plan
  12. Know family therapy techniques
  13. Evaluate family structures
  14. Carry out Identification of Patterns on the Family
  15. First Interview; Evaluate and Initiate Negotiation Initiatives

  17. Know and apply basic psychological counseling skills and conditions
