Graduate Education Institute · Clinical Psychology · Doctorate
Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide the ability to design, conduct and evaluate psychological research. Specifically identified goals in this framework are: (1) gain skills in designing psychology research; (2) gaining the ability to assess current psychological research; (3) gain skills in writing a research proposal; (4) acquiring familiarity with reporting research results and publication process; and (5) understanding research ethics.
Course Content
Topics are explained by the lecturer and article review presentations are carried out by the students. Students are encouraged to share their thoughts and to think critically about the topics in the course. The content of the course is based on the needs of the students and on current scientific developments. Examinations cover both reading texts and discussions within the course.
