ISL 511 - Financial Management I

This course is an upper level of financial management (corporate finance) course which is given in undergraduate level especially in terms of examples of daily business life and provides training on the basic concepts and calculations of finance and financial management.

The first part of the course before the first midterm exam is based on the general framework of financial management and the study of financial statements.

The second part focuses on portfolio theory, bond and stock and option valuation based on the time value of money.

To minimize the likelihood of plagiarism, let's define it: stealing the work of others (for example, copying others' exam answers, projects or assignments) and presenting them as yours. If you catch cheating on the exam or if your homework shows plagiarism, you will receive zero. In fact, for the whole course, it will be getting F. In addition, the incident will be reported to the authorities and consequences such as expulsion or expulsion may occur. The following 3 rules are important:

- Course attendance is not compulsory but attendance will be taken and additional points will be given to attendance.

-If totality of the notes is not 70, the student would fail.

-Cheating during exams and while preparing homeworks is not tolerated.
