Course Objective

-to teach the main concepts of sociology

-to teach asking and answering sociological questions

-to encourage students to think beyond personal lives and connect their experiences with larger social structures they live in.

-to encourage studnts to see how everyday issues are shaped by social and historical context.

The content of this course includes some main sociological topics, concepts and theoretical approaches.
