Course Objective

This course aims to offer an introduction to EU law and constitutionalization of the EU.

 

Course Content

This course focuses on sources and principles of EU law, the institutions of the EU and its legislative process, and the relationship between EU law and law of the member states. It also analyses the constitutionalization of the EU.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Understand sources and principles of EU law.
  2. Critically analyse the relationship between EU law and law of the member states.
  3. Explain the composition, role and functioning of Court of Justice of the European Union.
  4. Analyse constitutionalization of the EU.
  5. Demonstrate the ability to articulate ideas to others in a clear and concise manner both orally and in a written format.
