Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with an introduction to the general theory of law and to introduce them to the basic concepts and institutions of both private and public law; To introduce the basic concepts and institutions of law and to learn about the contents of the concepts they meet in their current life and in various places of the education they are taking. On the other hand, in the following periods, the aim is to prepare a meaningful sub-structure of the law courses that they will receive.

Course Content

Characteristics of the rules of law and differentiation from other social order rules; Contemporary legal systems, sources of law; Public law, private law, mixed law branches and subdivisions; Implementation of various aspects of the law; Rights ownership; Legal actions and transactions

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Distinguishes the rules of law from other rules of social order.
  2. Sort the rules of law hierarchically.
  3. When a law is given to him, it determines whether it is an imperative, an irrelevant, a descriptive or an empowerer.
  4. Students identify the notions of contract, legal personality, freedom of will, family, property, liability and punishment.
  5. Students will learn the basic legal concepts of the world's legal systems
