Course Objective
To provide an outline examination of the political, social, cultural and technical events that have developed in the world since World War II and to make sense of today's world. To examine the change that world political life has experienced in the last 86 years with technical, economic, social, and military developments. To allow students to learn about today's world and the historical depth that makes it, to see the reasons beneath the events. In addition, to ensure that students learn about the problem areas and conflict areas that are still in the History of the Contemporary World.
Course Content
The cold war years that began with the end of the second world war, the fall of the Soviets and the impact of new events on today's world are included in the course. In addition, the Cold War, a US-USSR power struggle that took place all over the world, is included in the course of historical analysis of the consequences of the ethnic, religious, sectarian-looking regional conflicts and the phenomenon of globalization.
