Course Objective

To examine, analyze and analyze the Ottoman society and political structure in the general framework of Ottoman history. The aim of the course is to improve students' understanding of the subject and the ability to criticize by dealing with successive subjects. To understand the institutional and functional characteristics of the State Organization and institutions of the Ottoman Empire.

Course Content

The Ottoman society and its political structure, which is based on Islamic principles and Islamic-Turkish mixed customs, customs and traditions, can be used as a model that can be adapted to many modern world states and bring justice and legacy. In this context, in this course, the Ottoman administrative structure, trade ethics, religious understanding, perception of justice, approach to Muslim and non-Muslims, and spiritual education will be discussed within the framework of the general lines of Ottoman history and in this context the stages of the Ottoman society and political structure from the classical period to the collapse period. will be exposed.
