Course Objective
This course aims to give basic knowledge about family concept, family assessment methods, family counseling methods, approach to families encountering different problems and treatment process. Students can apply these gains in their social investigation and treatment processes.
Course Content
The lessons will be taught theoretically and practically, and clinical case examples will be presented in relation to the topics. Active participation of the students will be ensured in the courses related to measurement and evaluation. Again, in some subject titles, students will be asked to present cases prepared by students. The films related to the topic titles and which are requested to be watched from the students will be discussed together with derste students.

- Know different approaches to solution of family problems
- Gaining the psycho-social approach skills to the concept of family
- They participate in the debate on the causes and consequences of family problems and prepare a presentation on the subject.
- To be able to comprehend the concepts, pioneers and functioning of the main theories of family therapy
- To understand the function and process of family therapy
- Learn the basic concepts of family therapy
- Understanding Turkish family structure
